The Ryerson Law Network is happy to present our final event of the year, the Wrongful Convictions Analysis Project on March 18th from 12:00-4:00pm.
In partnership with Innocence Canada, the Ryerson Law Network will bring together undergraduate students, law students, and several legal practitioners to analyze two criminal cases and outline visible pitfalls in due process. Our team will then publish your input within a short article on Innocence Canada’s website, titled “Where Justice Goes Wrong”.
We hope that this project will not only help raise awareness but also help to provide basic facts about judicial reasoning to those who are looking to learn more about how wrongful convictions occur.
Why should YOU participate?
1. Build case analysis and issue spotting skills
2. Contribute to the fight against wrongful convictions
3. Have your name listed on the article as a contributor
