Consent Comes First Design Jam
Sunday March 5, 2017 9:00AM – 5:00PM

Have ideas for how to spread the word about consent on campus? Want to see your designs become an ad campaign? Ryerson’s Office of Sexual Violence Support and Education will be holding a design competition, starting off with a one-day #ConsentComesFrist Design Jam on March 5. By participating in this innovative campaign, you will engage your peers on ideas of respect, sexual health, bystander intervention, consent and the impacts of sexual violence. At the end of the month long competition, students will pitch their campaign ideas to a panel of expert judges at a #ConsentComesFirst Pitch Night. The winners will have a chance to turn their advertising idea into the Ryerson 2017 sexual violence prevention campaign.

Student Learning Support (SLS) Job Fair

Student Learning Support (SLS) helps students become more effective in their academic studies. They teach essential academic skills and study techniques that help students express their intelligence, apply their knowledge, and communicate their ideas. They will have approximately 70 potential positions in SLS for Summer 2017 and Fall 2017/Winter 2018, subject to budgetary and Career Boost approval. Applicants must have CGPA of 3.0 and above and returning to full-time undergraduate studies in Fall 2017/Winter 2018. Previous Career Boost approval is an asset. Apply by March 1, 2017.
