The Child Self-Regulation Lab at Ryerson University is currently seeking a new student volunteer research assistant for our ongoing Integra Mindfulness Martial Arts (MMA) research project.
Our experiments involve evaluating the effects of MMA on the executive functions of youth with learning disabilities and ADHD. We do this in part by collecting EEG data from preadolescent youth while they perform computer tasks. Research assistants will benefit from learning about the processes involved with EEG data collection and processing. Undergraduates in their third or fourth year of studies who can commit to a minimum of one weekend testing day per week can apply. Previous experience is not necessary but considered and asset and training will be provided. If you have applied in the past, please feel free to resubmit your application or send us an email. We are looking to fill 2-3 positions.
To apply, please submit a CV and transcript to firstname.lastname@example.org
