Camp Nurse/First Aider | Camp Kirk

Camp Kirk is a small overnight camp for children who have Learning Disabilities, AD/HD, High Functioning Autism, and/or other types of exceptionalities. We are a small family-like camp and we hope that our Nurse/First Aider will be an integral part of the staff. The job will prove to be excellent experience for anyone wishing to go into pediatric nursing or into the mental health field. The dates of employment run from June 19th until August 25th. All staff members reside at camp and Room and Board is provided over and above the salary.

Class Instructors for After School Program | Deer Park School

Now hiring class instructors for an after school program. Let us know your hobbies or what you are good at and propose a class idea.  Robotics, coding, scratch, circuits,  sewing, hip hop and crafts. The Career Design Lab

Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 | 1:30 – 4:00 pm | Alumni Lounge, Mattamy Athletic Centre

The Career Design Lab is a 2 hour immersive event for Ryerson students. Small teams of 6 will tackle a series of challenges in real time, aimed at enhancing key skills demanded by employers today: Resilience, Confidence & Self-awareness. Two winning teams will have lunch on Wednesday, Feb 8th at LinkedIn with a senior regional leader to discuss how you can use LinkedIn to tap into the hidden job market.

** Deposit : $20 (Register and pay at the Ryerson Career Centre front desk and the deposit will be returned to students at time of registration on the day of the program)

Ryerson’s Social Ventures Zone 3rd  Annual Social xCHANGE

January 27-29th, 2017| Student Learning Centre

The Social xCHANGE is a collaborative event aimed at inspiring social innovation and social enterprise across Ryerson and the community. Ryerson partners with universities in our region and internationally to inspire students to explore, initiate and develop their ideas for change. Our theme for 2017 is ‘ Reimagining Canada, the Next 150’ to honour the sesquicentennial. An emphasis will be placed on environmental stewardship, reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples, youth engagement, and diversity and inclusion.

This will be a great opportunity for you to familiarize yourself and get involved in Ryerson’s innovation and social entrepreneurship ecosystem. If you have a passion for any of these themes, this could be your chance to turn it into action and a viable business!
