Congress 2017 Town Hall Meeting
Thursday, November 17th |  11:00am-1:00pm

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Pamela Sugiman, will be hosting two Town Halls this fall to inform the Ryerson community about Congress 2017, and to generate awareness and engagement. The Town Halls are part of an ongoing effort to promote campus-wide participation. Information will also be provided on the 600+ volunteer and 100+ contract positions that the planning team is seeking to fill. Students, faculty and staff are invited to come learn about Congress, ask questions, provide input, and explore the many opportunities to become involved in Canada’s largest, annual academic conference. Lunch will be provided.

The MMPA program at UofT is designed to be the most time-concentrated, Master’s level gateway to professional accounting and financial markets employment, particularly for students graduating from non-business programs.  Advanced standing is available for business students. The MMPA program is accredited by CPA Ontario allowing our graduates to move straight to the final module, Capstone 2 of the CPA PEP and then on to the CPA Common Final Exam (CFE).

Are you a young Canadian looking for adventure? Do you want to share your stories about your summer vacation, road trips or encounters and use them to inspire youth to seek out awesome experiences in their own back yard? If so, Parks Canada has the job for you!

As Parks Canada Youth Ambassadors, two young Canadians will be hired to inspire youth to get off track and discover and share all the awesome things that they can experience in Canada. All interested students are invited to come to our Toronto Regional Round Table November 5-6th, 2016 so that the Parks Representative can have the opportunity to meet them in person, as well as watch them present at the Parks Canada Challenge.
