This Is My Story (TIMS) is a project by Ryerson’s student group, Students for Mental Awareness, Support, & Health (SMASH). TIMS is a free, student peer-to-peer support event where anyone can share their lived experiences and hear about others’. The purpose of TIMS is to lend an ear and create safe spaces where you can tell your story, whether it be about experiencing a mental illness, discrimination, family problems, fitting in, body image, or any other matter. Hosted three times per semester, there is space for 50 people at each event who will be split into smaller groups.
… Everyone has a story, what’s yours?
Any and all students are welcome to participate, with no obligation to sign up for a later event.
The next event will take place on Tuesday, November 8th from 6-9pm in SLC514.
