Congress 2017 Town Hall Meeting

Thursday, October 27th   | 11:00am-1:00pm  and Thursday, November 17th |  11:00am-1:00pm

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Pamela Sugiman, will be hosting two Town Halls this fall to inform the Ryerson community about Congress 2017, and to generate awareness and engagement. The Town Halls are part of an ongoing effort to promote campus-wide participation. Information will also be provided on the 600+ volunteer and 100+ contract positions that the planning team is seeking to fill. Students, faculty and staff are invited to come learn about Congress, ask questions, provide input, and explore the many opportunities to become involved in Canada’s largest, annual academic conference. Lunch will be provided.

Career Workshop for Ryerson’s International & Newcomer Students

The Career Centre is partnering with the International Student Support (ISS) office to deliver the first career workshop of this academic year. From Home to Canada: How to Land a Career is a workshop that targets 1st year international and newcomer students who want to learn more about the workplace expectations and culture in Canada, as well as how to get more involved on campus at Ryerson and start your networking efforts (though students from all years are welcomed).

Level Up! Career Conference

The Level Up! Career Conference is an opportunity for youth to learn about and explore different career paths by connecting youth with real world professionals who are put into distinctive subject panels with a mix of professional work and unconventional careers. Ontario Hospital Association: HealthAchieve Annual Event

Have you registered yet? HealthAchieve is one of the largest and most prestigious health care events in North America and is the perfect opportunity for future leaders to learn, share and network with some of the best and brightest health care and business leaders. Full-time university and college students can register at the nominal rate of $40. The event is of interest to students interested in entering health professions, including occupational and public health, as well as health engineering.

Nature Harmony Institute Design Challenge

Nature Harmony Institute’s second annual Life to Buildings™ Design Challenge is underway and invites you to join this year’s competition!
