The Good Food Box is a program run by the Good Food Center. The Good Food Center is a Ryerson Students’ Union Equity Service Center that works to provide access to free non-perishable foods and fresh produce to students, faculty and full- or part-time staff struggling with poverty, financial obligations, and underemployment. Through several services, including the center’s food bank and Good Food Box program, Ryerson community members can access a wide range of foods to meet a variety of needs.
Every week we have an opportunity to order fresh, local and seasonal produce at low rates from Food Share, a local non-profit focused on delivering food and health education around the city. The Good Food Box is an easy and very accessible way to support local and sustainable agriculture. You can read more about the organization at http://foodshare.net/

For every 8 boxes ordered, the Good Food Center receives one free Good Food Box. In order to help keep this program running, would you please inform your students, faculty and staff of the Good Food Box program? The attached flyer contains information on the boxes, and orders can be dropped off at the Member Service’s Office or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
