Advanced Digital and Professional Training (ADaPT) is a youth skills development and internship program aimed at bridging the employment gap for recent graduates.
ADaPT provides hands-on workshops in digital literacy, communications, research, business financials, career skills, and more, along with an opportunity to compete for a professional paid internship.
The ADaPT program is open to Ryerson and non-Ryerson students in their final year of study, recent graduates, and graduate students in Arts, Social Sciences, Humanities, Design and Business programs under the age of 29, who are looking to enhance their skills with advanced digital and professional training.
Key dates for ADaPT Winter/Spring 2016
- Deadline to apply: Feb. 5, 2015
- ADaPT Core Training: Feb. 24 – Mar. 16 (P/T: Wed. 6-9 pm and Sat. 9 am – 6 pm)
- ADaPT Advanced workshops Mar. 19 – April 24 (P/T: Thurs. 6-9 pm and/or Sat. 9 am – 6 pm* subject to change).
- Internships: April 30* The start date may vary on the internship.
++ Participants required to attend a minimum of 75% of Core Training courses and take at least two Advanced Workshops to receive Certificate of Completion and be eligible for a paid internship opportunity.
