NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards | 2016 Competition

handdrawn-microscope-128We would like to encourage 2nd, 3rd and 4th year psychology students with interests in cognitive areas of psychology, and a strong GPA (3.50 or above), to apply for a summer undergraduate student award from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).  You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada in order to apply.  More information about the program and instructions on how to apply can be found in this post and in the document attached.

These awards (currently valued at $6,988 minimum) are meant to stimulate your interest in research in the natural sciences by working in an NSERC-supported laboratory, and can serve as a stepping-stone to graduate studies. Listed below are the psychology labs that are eligible to host students this summer. Please contact the lab director ASAP if you are interested. The internal deadline for applications from psychology is 4pm, Friday, February 12th, 2016. Submit to Sarah Carmichael in JOR-901.
