The Child-Self Regulation Lab is currently seeking new student volunteer research assistants for their ongoing Mindfulness Martial Arts (MMA) research project.
Their experiments involve evaluating the effects of a Mindfulness Martial Arts program on the executive functions of youth with learning disorders and ADHD. They do this in part by collecting EEG data from preadolescent youth while participants perform computer tasks. Research assistants will benefit from learning about the processes involved with EEG data collection and processing. Undergraduates in their third or fourth year of studies who can commit to a minimum of one weekend testing day per week can apply. Previous experience is not necessary but considered and asset and training will be provided. To apply, please submit a CV and transcript by email to Melissa Edwards.
