1444078238_CanadaAs most of you may know that reading week is coming up October 10th-18th. Besides studying, you have an opportunity to enjoy some time off and have a practical application of theory learnt in class. The Politics and Governance Student Association has organized a 3-day trip to Ottawa from October 13th to 15th. The trip includes 2 nights & 3 days stay at the Lord Elgin Hotel and a round trip charter bus.

The full itinerary is available on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/RUPOGSA

The cost of this trip is only $120. Besides the hotel accommodation & travel, the cost includes visits to foreign embassies*, the Supreme Court of Canada, the Parliament of Canada, the Governor General’s House, the Canadian War Museum amongst many other places.

*Note: To qualify for certain embassies, the POGSA needs your full name and either your drivers license number or your passport number by October 7th in order for POGSA to send an advanced list. If you submit your money & form after October 7th, you still can visit every other place scheduled for the itinerary.

Your information is guaranteed to remain protected and is available to only one individual that is in direct contact with the embassies. This information is stored on an encrypted hard drive, and will be provided to the embassies via password protected PDF. Immediately after the trip, the information will be disposed of in order to protect your identity.

The absolute deadline for funds is October 9th. The permission form is available at the Ryerson Student Centre Front Desk, same place that you should submit your payment.
