The Center for Development and Strategy, in association with the University of Toronto Institute for Management and Innovation, will host an international Think Development Conference (TDC). TDC is a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students interested in development studies to meet their peers, share their work, and further their appreciation of domestic and international development.
Since development is a wide-ranging discussion with an elusive definition, through discussion we hope to produce an encompassing definition at the conference! This conference will thematically explore and discuss development and/or strategic implementation through a multi-regional and interdisciplinary approach. For the purposes of this conference, we define ‘development’ broadly to include (but not limited to) the economic, geo-political, scientific and technological aspects. We welcome proposals for traditional or non-traditional panels, individual papers, and films.
For detailed information regarding the conference presentation topics, deadlines and accommodations, please refer to our detailed guidebook attached to this email. The guidebook and all details regarding the Think Development Conference is available on our website http://www.thinkcds.org/conference-2015.
The deadline for proposal submission is Tuesday, June 2, 2015 by 11:59 pm EST.
Please submit proposals via the “Submit Abstract” page.
(Please check our website on June 1, 2015 for the names of hotels where CDS/TDC discount may be applied).
